The Clubs Type

Energetic, Restless and Spontaneously Impulsive

The Club social-type, is the sort of person who sees themselves as being the constant adventure seeker, both curious and creative.

If your dominant social-type is a Club, you will tend to believe that variety is the core ingredient for a happy life, both in pleasure and everyday things.

Other key qualities that Clubs have in common is that they:

  • Seek out many interests, with sustained and intense energy (Clubs hate being bored).
  • Need to be intrigued (Clubs will rarely accept any monotonous task as necessary).
  • Can be very optimistic, yet irreverent (Clubs will take every opportunity to make the depressing upbeat, often with the use of inappropriate humour).
  • Tend to prefer self-directed work (Clubs are highly adaptable, which makes finding their own way easy).
  • Are not driven by risk (yet Clubs will embrace risk for the benefit of a new or intense experience).
  • Tend to have a love of big cities (after all, Clubs need to be where the action is).

The dominant attraction chemistry of a Club, is the mood chemical Dopamine. This is the 'novelty seeking' chemical of the brain. We all have it - in varying quantities - but Clubs have a lot of it! It means they always will need to be free.

The high levels of the mood chemical Dopamine, mean that Clubs are naturally prone to keeping an open mind. So a Club will naturally surround themselves with other friends with similar interests in seeking new sensations.
