Direct and Decisive, with a Tough Mind


The Diamond social-type, is the sort of person who sees themselves as being very good at understanding and creating systems, based on figuring out the rules and patterns that govern things.


If your dominant social-type is a Diamonds, you will tend to believe that everything is composed of understandable rules-based systems.


Other key qualities that Diamonds have in common is that they:


  • Have excellent spatial skills (so Diamonds tend to know exactly where they parked their car).
  • Have excellent musical and sports ability (Diamonds will often use music or sports to help them solve a puzzle).
  • Are very goal-oriented (Diamonds will often focus intensely on the goal at hand, with a very deep and narrow concentration).
  • Are very analytical and logical (Diamonds pride themselves deeply on both these qualities).
  • Are very direct (Diamonds see little point in being delicate or tactful, if it is important to say something. Social small-talk is not usually in their skillset).


The dominant attraction chemistry of a Diamond, is the sex chemical Testosterone. This is the 'dominance and competition' chemical of the brain. We all have it - in varying quantities - but Diamonds have a lot of it! It means they will always be pragmatic, direct and decisive.

The high levels of the sex chemical Testosterone, means that Diamonds are naturally prone to be exacting and skeptical. So a Diamond will have little or no time for being politically correct, or for observing traditions that make no sense to them. Above all else, they are practical.
