Welcome to a new way to socialize - with Better Connect. We take the guess work out of meeting people 'based on a profile'.


That's right, there are no profiles to swipe here!


When you take our quiz, we group you into 1 of 4 social types. We've discovered, this is the perfect way to find out who will make good friends, and perhaps something more...


After that, we simply put those groups together at an event. Really simple.


Our amazing hosts will guide you past the hard stuff. Like who sits with who; and some great conversation starters. Then we let attraction-chemistry do the rest.


Try our monthly 'Mingle' event. There is no dating implied. Friendship-building is the only goal. We know you'll be back for more. The right connections are a bit like that.

Not Here For Dating?

That's pretty common actually. Maybe you're recently single and not sure if you want to date. Maybe you just want to meet other people with similar interests?

Either way, it's all good. We're all about keeping the vibe friendly.

Most of our events are not aimed at dating. While we do have events for that purpose, they are clearly labelled as 'Singles' events. For everything else, assume the connections are purely for friendship.

How we filter

There are only 4 Social Types we group people into. To make it easy, we use the suits of playing cards (so, Clubs, Spades, Diamonds and Hearts). We like to keep it pretty simple.

Sorting Types

Sometimes sorting can be very close between two types. You may wish to take the Social Type quiz multiple times. The result you get the most, should be the one you select on your next event ticket.

Got a spare 5 minutes?

Register, and answer a short quiz about your social habits.  At the end we show you your Social Type, and email you that result.

You are now ready to begin the adventure!

2. Explore Your Social Type

Now you know your Social Type. Why does it matter?

There are 4 Social Types: Spades, Clubs, Diamonds and Hearts. Yours is super important, because it tells us who you're going to want to hang with.

3. Purchase a Ticket

Know your Social Type? Check.

Time to get a ticket. Go to our Ticket Store and chose your event. Nominate your Social Type in the ticket options, and you are good to go!

4. Attend an Event

Choose from a range of event options.

If you want to just meet friends, choose 'Mingle Events'. If you specifically want the dating vibe, choose 'Singles Events'. As we build larger groups we will do events just for each Social Type.
